Shipboard cable for new builds and refits

Commercial shipbuilding brings together communications, automation, video and control routes. Passenger vessels, cargo ships and specialist craft may need different constructions on the same vessel: fixed cabling below deck, oil-resistant cable near machinery, flexible cable for moving equipment and water-resistant cable in exposed areas. Match each route to its duty and required class approval.

Ballast water treatment system cabling

A ballast water treatment system (BWTS) may combine industrial Ethernet, Modbus, power, control and high-temperature cable. For a retrofit, send the equipment maker’s cable schedule, connector details, route lengths and installation constraints.
